Iyengar Yoga Retreat in Crete with Kristina
4-11 August · Small group · Limited places
A week of simple rhythm – morning practice, afternoon rest, evenings by the sea. Iyengar practice as a dialogue between body and mind, building from foundations to more advanced postures, day by day.
Style: Iyengar yoga
Level: 🟢 All levels welcome
Focus: Alignment, breath, and awareness of body and mind
Format: Two practice sessions per day with time for rest
About this retreat
By observing where we feel tension and where we experience ease, we use the body’s knowledge to understand our limits — both physical and psychological. Sometimes the body says yes while the mind says no, or vice versa.
The purpose of this retreat is to have the body and mind work together within each posture. To actually be in an asana, not just reach for it. To enjoy yoga, no matter how flexible we are.
Over the course of the week, we build the foundations for a basic series of asanas, gradually progressing to more demanding postures. Each class ends with deep relaxation.
